"world love = earth peace" Mahavatar Babaji
I was a vagabond huddled on the strasse
There wasn't anything I was really after
I met a wise wise woman she but a Euro in my cup
She wore groovy sandals and smiled when I looked up
World Love, World Love
It can be so sudden take a moment if you would
We can have the peace we want and practice what we could
World Love, World Love
I was a cowboy, again on the range
It was a very quiet mornin', somewhere in Spain
I met a very large indian with feathers in his hair
He said "We don't need nothing just try to love the bear"
World Love, World Love
It can be so sudden take a moment if you would
We can have the peace we want and practice what we could
World Love, World Love
World Love, World Love
World Love
I saw a very english lady with flowers in her hair
She had beauty in her ways and beauty in her stare
Well she winked at me and grinned while sippin' on her tea
She said "You are very fortunate and we all must be"
World Love, World Love
It can be so sudden take a moment if you would
We can have the peace we want and practice what we could
World Love, World Love
World Love, World Love
World Love

I was in the trailer in Alabama, and Roger Morrish had made contact with me, we became friendsand we were discussing how to help solve the "War things" with the Gulf War, and I'm kind of sure it was Roger Morrish that suggested "world love", and I said "that's IT", we need to make some T-Shirts with this slogan. So Roger made some T-Shirts, and I went into the kitchen and thought I would try to write a song with this title. I went back into my bedroom to get my capo... and I have this picture of The Beatles SGT. Pepper Album and I spoke to the picture of Sgt. Pepper, and asked Sir Paul McCartney, if he would help me write a song, a great song that could save the planet from this war that was starting in Iraq, after 9-11. And I swear I could hear him through this picture of the SGT. Pepper Album Art saying... "what's the title?" And I said "World Love". And then Ringo kind of smiled in the picture. And George and John smiled too. And I was energized by the spiritual moment. To be part of it. Seriously.
Then I went into the kitchen of the trailer and in 15 minutes "we" wrote "World Love". It is a chant I still sing today. I didn't actually include Sir Paul on the co-writer credits, but I always give him thanks and credit for helping me write this song. I really love The Beatles and I tried to contact MPL several times, but I never got any feedback, or anything, so I still sing this song, with hopes to bring the idea, the chant of "World Love" would fix everything. We recorded it at Abbey Road in 2006, with Roger Morrish and Roy Bowden. And, Gunter Pauler thought it would be a great song for the world,... and we'll keep preaching love, forgiveness and explaining things. The session day at Abbey Road was a great day, I met Mr. George Martin that day too, and Sir Paul kind of blessed us with 2 free hours of mix time, kinda. That same day, I felt so wonderful to have been blessed with playing music. After years of struggle and paying dues and things, it was the biggest day of my life, on several levels. And, I probably owe Sir Paul McCartney some money, for his part in the song, and I'm positive that I heard him through the grapevine... from the Vibe of The SGT. Pepper picture. Of course some people say I'm kind of crazy. It is difficult to explain, in several languages... ya know... unless you've actually ... been there.
The T-Shirts, we gave most of them away.
And recording at Northeim, Stockfisch Studio is a lot better for me, I was really nervous recording at Abbey Road, and The Studio there in the basement is comfortable. Each Studio is different. I love to records and write songs. It is a real joy in my soul to be part of this song. I like London, it is a great town to write songs in. All the great songwriters, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones. All the greats.
The are great songwriters, everywhere and great studios, everywhere. I am very blessed to be able to be at Northeim at Stockfisch Records and at Abbey Road Studios. I hope to be able to record, all over the world, some day, at different places.
